Hon Emiko Odin-Etuwewe a graduate of the prestigious Olabisi Onabanjo University , Post Graduate Degree and masters on communication Management in view from the Delta State University and also with Msc in view at the Novena University (information and technology management). A Beneficiary of the AddVantage(Students Corner by Fela Durotoye )and a grassroots politician . Councilor representing the Warri Royal Ward called Bateren in Warri South West LGA of Warri , Delta State.
Hon. Emiko Odin Etuwewe raised the standards of councilors with his project back to school in collaboration with his foundation Raise the future Foundation and Team Emiko Odin Etuwewe initiative respectively .
Hon. EOE as he is popularly called provides 3000 note books, sandals and bags to pupils annually in the riverine school of Iye, Omateye, agogboro, bobi olobe and orere primary schools respectively and encourages the creek teachers
The creative and committed councilor registered and sponsors football teams such as the Agogboro Football Team aka Team Mayuku and the Bateren Fc aka Omateye Football Club of the coastal settlements to annually participate in the ITSEKIRI/IJAW Peace and Unity Tournaments. A very encouraging stride that engages the entire youths in Warri.
The maverick Emiko Odin Etuwewe is also the initiator of the now popular annual December 25th Bateren Carnival (A Warri royal village )tagged Bateren Peace and Unity Biggest Creek Carnival which showcases all sort of the Itsekiri heritage and Culture and many other activities that attract sons and daughters of the land back home every Christmas Day .
This amongst many impactful contributions like youth and elderly empowerment’s support distinguished him for this recognition

And By this ...he spur other councilors to work beyond just the usual making of bye laws and constituency projects nationwide, even though he raised quite some motions and constituency projects to recon with especially the just kicked off PNP( Peoples’ Need Program)that captures about 15 youths and elderly on vocational training and monthly stipends
