Arsenal Beat 10-man Southampton To Keep Champions League Qualification Hopes Alive
A goal in each half by youngsters Edward Nkekiah and Joseph Willock saw Arsenal return to winning ways with a 2-0 victory against 10-man Southampton at Saint Mary’s in Thursday night’s Premier League game, Completesports.com reports.
It had not been the best of return for the Gunners who had lost back-to-back games prior to meeting Southampton.
Also, the win against Southampton puts them in the mix for Champions League qualification for next season.
Bukayo Saka who has been impressive for Arsenal this season, was in action and played for 90 minutes.
